Well, I am very excited for DoE and cannot wait for the game to be released! I have a few ideas of my own for the game. I'd help with coding and stuff, but all I can do is code on some color...mostly blue. So, take a look at my ideas!
Dragon
different heads with horns, manes for the dragons would be spikes and a few different tail variations. Two different body types for wyvern and normal
Birds of prey
Hawks, falcons, and eagles (the reason that owls are not listed here is because, even though they have the same skull type as the three listed, their feathers are around their skull, making it look completely different. Different head variations would be avalible for those creative RPers and because of the more-than-one-marking-for-almost-all-body-parts thing makes customization even better! You could make the regular eagle with green/neon spirals over its feathers to make it look like it had its feathers dyed!)
Snakes(?) (I don't see this as a very playable character though. I understand that most items aren't going to be for all species and that most items usually only fit the canine and feline models. But I have hope! Because of the new, entirely different models all together, I see the snake having its own set of cool items like body coils and fangs that stick out of the mouth.)
Lastly, hedgehogs (specifically these because they're my favorite animal, next to cats! they are so fudging cute and I just want to squeeze them...gently, of course. Think of how much fun these animals would be to play as! Plus, that would add a reason for more animal-diverse RPs! not just hedgehog attempts, but actual hedge-hog models.I do see this as huntable, but I want to play as a hedgehog really bad!)
ITEMS
Claw variations (the metalic-looking claws are cool, but why not blood-stained claws and glowing claws?)
Scarfs (bring'em back, baby! I remember them in I.W!)
Collars (different ones; not just spiked. The black, purple, and bloody-spiked are just boring.)
Hats (not just fedoras, even they're cool! I want something other than that that won't cause copy right issues. Like the top-hats, only a different color!)
Tattoos (they'd be for like paws and stuff and be like a shard. They could even glow!)

I've been inactive because school is a pain in the tail and summer vacation is coming up, so I've been working on some fan-art. I didn't post it anywhere though, sorry :(
Here are some new ideas I have for all you peoples!
Mixed breeds of animal
I have fan-art of a weasel-cat name Melloh Glo ( she is so awesome!) and since I have no idea of your bringing back weasels and/or all the other animals and tails and stuff, I doubt the mixed breeds will even be possible. Plus the meshing and coding would be much harder than usual. And I can only code color. <---- self taught
Skins
They'd be like presets, except they'd look like actual animals. Instead of struggling to find the right markings and ears and stuff, you can find an immediate match! Lets say I wanted to make a German Shepard character, and I couldn't find the right head options or tail options, and by the time I do, I might have to get off the computer (some kids have timed computers, so it kicks them off when in the middle of it. or, parents only allow them so much. Plus, for all the people with lives that have to go to work/college/ ect. it won't be so hard, in your free time, to make a character!) and I they won't even let me save it (this has happened to a few of us, as I). The skins would really save time!
Dens
I'm not trying to turn this into MineCraft or ROBLOX with the bases, but this could be really cool! I've seen that you'll be making a map maker, so they can release maps for their Role Play groups. Maybe they make a wild wolf role-pay, and some one wants a specific type of base they can't create, because everyone's idea for the base is different? Now, they can make their own base to add to the map (with the map creators permission of course!)
Dinosaurs
I don't mean huntable (actually I do), i mean playable! Who wants to pay as a T-rex? *raises hand* *everyone in the room raised their hand* See what I mean?
Affects
Maybe some attacks or heads, tails, eyes, ect. will add an attack that gives an affect, like poison or paralysis when attacked.
PVP
I think I saw this confirmed already, but some places will allow Play-vs-Player. I also assume teams will be set up as well, so you don't "accidentally" (I put that in quotes because we all get a little peed off by are team mates some times and you just want to get a little 'revenge') defeat them. Just in case I was wrong about PVP, here's an idea.

So, I have some new item ideas! I've been in a creative "moon" LOL, no and have brain stormed a lot this lately, and here's some stuff!
Animal-Themed hats
Like the racoon idea by another LastMooner, there'd be foxes, wolves, different cats, different breeds of dogs. They'd be the heads of the animals, flattened out a bit, and then they'd be worn like a baseball cap.
Rings
They'd be worn on one of the claw-sheathes for cats, and on a claw for the wolves. I don't know how this would work for equines though.
Chains
This was popular (for me) in LM, and I thought this might be a cool thing to bring back. Possibly bloody chains as well.
Bones
Bones that'd go through ears and nose of the characters. I know this is a more outlandish idea, but I thought this would go well with tribal-based characters. Infact, this swag-ways us into the next suggestion!
Tribal Items
Grass skirts (like tutus from I.T/I.W), grass bracelets, tribal masks, all that cool stuff! Even pelts to wear around your characters. Otay, maybe that last one was a bit exsessive, but I brainstormed a lot!
Rage-comic Masks
How bout a troll face mask :D I know I want one. Even a You Don't Say mask!

Coloring Tongues I don't remember this being in LM, but coloring tongues would be awesome because making a green tongue or a blue tongue would really be interesting to see. Plus, it would make screen-shots a lot more interesting as well.
Mane Ideas I don't know if you'll be bringing back any of the original manes and stuff, but if you do, I have some ideas: Messy mane (bed-head hair. Would be flattened and frizzy in some places) '60s disco Mane (you don't need any information) Mo-hawk (stick up, defies gravity at all times).]
