Title: New Board Idea!

I could actually see this idea happening in my mind:
Alright, so we have the Contests and Event board. But what about a user-Contest and Event board?
So people could host and post their own forum or game events and people could participate in them?
And although you couldn't really have a custom title prize, you could still have in-game prizes and things of that sort!

That actually sounds like an interesting idea Ven! But, I think it also depends on what type of events we are talking about. We should keep it as just a forum thing for the start, because as you may know if you host like a "drop race" we can't garant that you won't be scammed or people will try to steal you without a staff member supervising. But you could also host like some parties, mini games and meeting in the game and in that case that board would be fricking helpful xD. And we also have forum relate events. In that I am totally agreeding with you on that idea! I myself had many ideas along with my friends that we could certaintly use that board for. Overall, I find it a good idea/ suggestion as long as we are responsable with it.

Or, maybe we could just allow anyone to post on the current one and mark official events with some kind of official tag.

Yeah that also sounds good. I was thinking more about a child board like the many other boards. One for members events, and one for oficial ones. But since it seems that the events child board is for certain types of events/contests ( member of the month or whatever the exact name is) so I wasn't completly sure about that idea.

I would definitely use it for my own event ideas!
I think I will set up a poll to see who would use it and who wouldn't.

a sub-board in the contest section would be good. to be able to get a tag topic they could be approved by some mod so it'd filter out time wasters which you're sure to get.

That actually seems like a good idea as a sub-board, I think everyone already explained everything you should consider, but I (or any other member of the group I'm in) would definatly use it.
