SUPER EASY suggestion: VERY simple anatomy fix
Alouette:
i noticed that, quite obviously, the rabbits in the game have pawpads. there are alot of anatomy flaws with the rabbits (such as the fact they look more like hares, due to standing digitigrade, and having a more athletic body), but really the biggest and easiest thing to fix would be the paws.
hares and rabbits both have no paw pads, only fluffy paws (i dont really know why this isnt well known; who hasnt owned a rabbits foot?)
some rabbit feet:
hare feet:
call me picky: but as a rabbit and hare enthusiast, this is really my pet peeve! =:p
Jenxie13:
I am pretty sure this is more of just a texture thing. They would have to make an entire new texture for the rabbit body which would take a lot more coding than they need. If you really want this problem to be "solved," you can make a preset without the paw pads, and then wait for preset submissions to open so your character does not have to have paw pads. ^^;
Alouette:
i still dont see what would be so difficult in that though. having different species in a game should generally mean having distinct textures and models. the rabbit model doesnt really look like the rest of the animals who have pawpads, so whats the big deal about redoing the bunny paw texture?
Quammar:
I feel like only a select handful of people would actually notice this. Actually re doing something so simple as this doesn't require any significant coding so, it's not a a work load issue, just a "when someone has time and if enough people think it should be changed" kind of issue. I'm sure whoever textured the rabbits/hares didn't reference a real image and just had /bunny/ in mind. The mask for the model just needs tweaking and that's it, really.
RakshaWw:
The rabbit model is a free-to-use model made by someone else so we sadly don't have many rights to the model so we cannot edit it too much but taking away the paw pads should be okay, hopefully Dutch sees this thread and works something out about that :)
Thanks for the suggestion!
