What kind of markings do you want to see?

Was thinking mane markings...? May sound stupid, but like, highlights? That we could color, of course. And maybe we could pick the texture of our fur which would affect the markings?

Ok, my markings suggestion is stripes on the back going down into the very outside of underbelly? Starting from the back, like in the picture that says 'last moon' on it at the top? Always wanted that.

Sorry went a little off-topic at the top, just always wanted that.

Turkish Van cat marks? I know it's not a well known breed, but they could be used for other things, too.

Both models for the first two, but probably feline only for the last.

As Chiboo said, I think having layered markings would be wonderful. What if you wanted cheetah spots with toeless socks? Maybe additional 'layers' could even be earned through quests or number of forum posts. Although a limit to the layers would probably be a good thing to have in place. It would be amazing personally to be able to do that, granted I wouldn't know how difficult it would be to code/add to the game.
Anyway, as far as markings goes, I'm a little biased to my character's markings X'D But even if 'layers' couldn't be added, I would love to see some semi-transparent markings, i.e., a Back Splotch/Stripe with a partially transparent 'stripe' under it so it blends the colors/gives a sort of shaded option without layers. I'm also with Haruki -- I love to see blended, smooth-looking markings. Anyway, here's a list for easy-reading.

I would love to see toeless socks, and the marking from feralheart called biohazard, at least the head markings.
Also I'd love to see rings going up the legs and fade as they go up. v:

I would love to see feather like patterns too, like My wolf Tatchit was like that would be awesome. Like not all the way feathers but realistic feather patterns on the shoulders, thighs, legs maybe too. And on the tail c:
