Hi, I'm obviously new. If anyone could help me with this setup issue I would appreciate it immensely. I recently registered for an account on the forums successfully. When I went to install the game, I followed the instructions to the t. I've even written down the locations for the files just in case I ran into issues. Even if they're of no use I'm glad I did.
The first error message told me I did not have MSVCR100.dll. I downloaded that from the link and installed it. I went to the shortcut icon and clicked on it to run.
The window that popped up was titled "game.exe" and told me I was missing the file named in the subject. "d3dx9_43.dll" The window recommended I try reinstalling the program. I skimmed the download for the file name, but nothing came up for it. I'm assuming the solution is right under my nose and I may just have to go about uninstalling and reinstalling.
After this message came up another box, stating "An Exception has been made." It talked about functioning files in conjunction to another's location. Which I have no idea what meant.
I'd hate to be turned off such a promising game over something that can be easily fixed. If anyone has a solution, or has at least experienced this before, any schema would be incredibly useful. Thank you.
