Im not sure if this will help but I've discovered that on some computers, you have to hold "Shift" AND F2, or F3 [Depending on the camera you want] in order to make them work on another fuction aside from the one they're normally assigned to [like on my two laptops, its normally assigned to brightness]

Some computers need you to hold the fn key at the same time as f1 f2 etc
