I've downloaded both Last Moon & Impressive World(Which is finally back up :D) And for both games I get "Failed to connect to front server" My internet it fine and it works on my other computer, any ideas why it doesn't work on my main one? (It's Vista)
-
try running the game as admin by right clicking and "run as admin"
also make sure youve made a new account on the game itself
-
Okay I'll try that then get back to you :)
-
Still does the same thing x.x The words are "Our connection request has failed :c" (Sorry I didn't remember the exact words earlier .-.)
-
Did ye make your account pal?
-
Make sure your firewall isn't blocking LM
-
I already have an account with loads of stuff XD But yeah I'll try the firewall thing however I doubt anything's blocking it x.x
-
I'm going to try reinstalling now < Which didn't work x.x
My parents said it my be my port or something? What's the port for LM?
(I really don't have a clue about computers or games XD)
-
Have you tried disabling your firewall for anything related to LM? That's probably the issue.
That's probably what your parents mean
-
No everything was already disabled but idk they said games need a port or something to run (but I really have no clue what that is XD)
-
I'm not sure what you mean or what firewall you have so I simply can't help you.
I don't reckon hearing about any firewall that needed a port to have simple connections?
Ask your parents what they mean because at this point there's no way I can help.
-
No it's not about the firewall it's just about the port server the game works on but idk, I think I might end up just sticking with Feral Heart .-.
-
port server?
nah.
I think you're referring to the port forwarding you have to do to run a server but you don't need to do that to run the game.
whenever you're making a server of this nature, you must allow the connections into your computer, however for a client like you thats not the case
unless your computer somehow works so that you have to do something like that (which I've never heard) of, then it's most likely your firewall
idk how to help because I don't know what you mean by this port stuff so
yeah
-
Alright well, thanks anyway, it works on my other computer so if I really want to I can play there :)
*Sorry for replying so late o.o*
