Title: Game Won't start up

There are a lot of threads about this already but none are helping, at least for my LM.
I try starting the game up, but either the black box shows up for a split second before disappearing or it's stuck updating. I know about deleting the version.txt file and restarting the game but that doesn't work either, the .txt file keeps coming back.
The game has worked before (I had it for months now), this is the first time this is happening to me.

If it's stuck updating, then let it update. However if it never loads, then please copy and paste the contents of your update.log in the same folder as your version.txt

alright, the update.log is getting weird. Either it disappears immediately and the game never loads or it's stuck saying this:
Checking for new updates... New version: 0.4.71 Current version: Force: 0 Writing to: C:\Users\Kids\AppData\Local1\LastMoon\game\ -----STARTING UPDATE----- -----START DIRECTORY CHECK----- -----END DIRECTORY CHECK----- -----DELETE OLD FILES----- -----DELETE DONE----- -----START FILE CHECK-----

what if the update.log has been blank for a while?
Normally it says stuff but now it's not saying anything, and it's stuck there.

Yeah it needs to update. Give it time to update so it can give you the files you need. Deleting the version.txt only prolongs and redos the whole process over again. Just let it do its own thing, which will probably take quite a while
