Title: having trouble with playing multiplayer or any of the campaign modes

essentially ive been having issues with playing last moon virtually at all-  i start up the game everythings going swell i log in- then the screen freezes and my computer makes a ding?  besides the point i just cant access the game multiplayer at all-  i didnt know if a file was missing or something so i re- downloaded the game and its still happening?? tbh i have not the slightest clue of what to do about it- please help ;; my apologies for the non descriptiveness of this btw ;; its not coming up with any alerts either, blergh im just so confused as to what i should do.

1.) Did you download the 2 files given on the Download (http://) page?\
2.) How old is your computer?
3.) Do you have enough space for the game and it's files (and any files it may create later)?
4.) How well is your connection?

Also, When you login, did you create an account ingame first or are you using the username and password you created here?

1) no not yet?? i dont think??
2) its pretty much brand new
3) yep
4) its fairly decent tbh
im just so confused it was perfectly fine even after the update and now i just have not got the slightest clue of what has happened??? i assure you im using the correct login details but now its coming up with 'OGRE EXCEPTION(5:): Configuration key: 38/1 not found in Quest.dat in Config::getValue' im so confused this wasnt coming up before ;;

According to your answer, to me it looks like your DirectX and Microsoft Visual C++ is not up to date.
Download the two files from the download page and try to run the game.
Tell us if it worked. We can go from there.

Might be also a version problem.
Delete Version.txt and start the game.

aaaaa ive just tried it and its still coming up with the same thing ;; i have a feeling i might be doing something wrong, im sorry, im not very good with this stuff you see. ;;

I am more than certain that the admins will ask you to post the content of your update file.

Yep, exactly as tortuga said. Please copy/paste the contents of your update file in the same location as your version.txt

i have just re installed last moon again for the gazillionth time and it seems to be working again??? im sorry for all the hullaballo about this but thankyou so much for your help.
