Making preset items
« on: February 11, 2015, 08:28:12 AM »
I am really confused now after a couple of posts I read from the staff team.

Is a member allowed to create preset items for a specific preset to be put in game by staff?

Whenever I referred to importing an item in any post on this forum, I meant importing it through the preset campaign file for testing and then getting a staff member to add it to the game for your specific preset when preset submissions are open. Is this not allowed?

Please can someone clear up this for me? I am not interested in modding any files or adding any items without clear permission from a staff member.

I think what you mean are private items. Items that are private to you, and that you make yourself. They usually are a retexture of an item, and then for you only to use. You can also have a whole new item, AKA, a new item model+textures, but then you would've had to give us all objects pre-coded, and textured.

Unfortunately, private item/pet submissions are not open currently, and we do not have any current plans on opening them soon. With preset submissions opening in the future, we would like to worry about that more than private item submissions.

Private item/pet submissions were open in the past, but have been closed for a while now. They are different than Presets because they require a different type of coding.

Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks for the reply, I would never have called it a private item because it refers to then only you being able to see it. Thanks for informing me on the terminology.
