Post by: EasterBell on August 16, 2016, 03:49:57 AM
I cant get my LM to start, it just displays a message saying "An exception has occurred!" and then blahblahblah somethin about a module not being found

OGRE EXCEPTION(7:InternalErrorException): Could not load dynamic library. .6\RenderSystem_Direct3D9. System error: The specified module could not be found. In Dynlibb::load at C:\git\sources\dependencies\ogre_src_v1-7-4\OgreMain\src\DynLib.cpp (line 91)

yes i just took 30 minutes copying the exact message because im a noob at screenshotting

First of all, don't double post.

Download DirectX from the Download page and if that doesn't work than get the Microsoft one.

Try using the other rendering system.
You know the box that pops up right before you're taken to the loading screen for LM
THere you had to pick a rendering system at the top, and instead of having it at Direct3D, Change it to OpenGL

Ok so this is my help.
1. Go to the last moon tab and right click,
2.Go into open file locations,
3.You will see version, just delete version nothing else,
4.Leave the game a few minuets and then open it back up and it should be updating.

Hope this works. :P

Tessabear, Please read the previous posts. They stated that they tried that but it did not help.

Error says it can't find directx so I'm going to trust that.

I stated that i tried it without waiting a few minutes so I will try all of these things but if none of these work I quit on trying to get LM

Did you install DirectX?

That's the problem here.
You can't just download it and expect it to do something.
