So... recently I got 250 tames after working hard to collect them from draw points. xD Then I went to Portal Island to ask if anyone wants to come with me to test out if it's possible to tame a Tumbleweed. (Don't worry, I would have taken my dragon back) They said that the tame is glitched and I shouldn't try it. So I didn't.
But I'm still wondering; is it possible to tame a Tumbleweed? Oh and if it is, how many tames?

I believe they are tamable.
I would go and try. But be aware that some animals refuse to be tamed, so if you waste all the tames they either (A. Did not want to be tames, as the number of how many tames you need to tame something is randomized, or (B. It cannot be tamed.
You should tame it on a character you don't really care about, as tumbleweeds don't do much damage, either.

I would honestly not waste tames if all you want is get a Tumbleweed pet. You can buy them from the Pet NPC at Bazaar for 1 Bronze, I think.
But if your goal is to find out if they can be tamed or not, go ahead.

I tried it on my other character and turns out they can. It took only 12 tries! Yeah, and after taming a Sea Serpent on my main account me thinks I won't do it again.
