Title: The game will not start.

I have tried to open the game. The black box appears and checks for updates and then it disappears soon after. I have tried everything I found relating to this problem and nothing has worked. What should I do???

Did you try downloading the extra stuff? After you downloaded and installed them, uninstall your LM then install it back again and it should work. Hope it helped! c:

I tried installing DirectX. It said that the install failed. The other one says that I have I have a more recent version. The mirror version does the exact same thing.

Try deleting your version.txt file in your Last Moon folder and run the game.

I have tried that several times. I delete it and try to run the game and it shows up again.

There is a firewall blocking the updater

I turned off my firewall and the same thing happens.

By finding out what's blocking the updater and letting it download everything for you

Anti virus, firewall, windows firewall, "internet security" packages. And so on

I did what I could. I tried running the updater and it said that "Last Moon.exe" is not found. I tried running the game and the same thing happens.

then I assume you have something else installed that is stopping it from updating. I can't help you since I don't know what it is that does it

You could use something like http://www.httrack.com/ and tell it to download everything from http://itup.myzpyz.nu/update/files/ and put it in your game folder
