Title: Things not meshing properly
Post by: Ashyak on January 10, 2016, 02:10:44 AM
Some things (like rocks, platforms, elephant bones, etc.) are not solid, and things that shouldn't be solid (grass patch objects, bushes, ferns, etc.) are solid. Help?

Err, what do you mean by solid?...

Do you mean they have no collisions? Some older meshes lack collisions, while most of our other meshes just do.
Grass patches and other foliage sounds like a character creation glitch, where you randomly collide with invisble "walls". Easily fixed by resizing your character and joining back (afterwards you can size back up/down if you want, but you need to at least resize, get into the game once, and then it should be fine from there)
But as well, some foliage meshes in general just have collisions, period. I know most, if not all, of the meshes in Default have collisions
Hope this helps!

Thanks! ^
But as an example of some meshes without collisions, all of the rocks in Playground are not solid; I go straight through them.

Err- sorry if this comes off as rude, but why is it a problem that all the meshes don't have collisions? I mean it doesn't really change gameplay or anything. And it's quite fun to hide in a rock, at least in my mind.
