Title: Game isn't starting

  I tried to get rid of the version.txt but everytime I open LM up, the version.txt pops back up in the folder! I have a Windows 8.1 Laptop. Help please!
 My friend wants me to play with her and a friend but I cant cus of it.

It's supposed to do that, when you start up LM what is it doing? Does it just close, is there a black screen? We need a little more information.

It opens up then updates then just closes and nothing pops up.
It may be security tho.

Try to run it as an administrator? Sorry if that doesn't work.

What Anti-virus program do you have?
Because Norton and I think Mcafee or something like that, are notorious for stating that LM is a virus, which it is truly not. So if you have one of those programs, I suggest you do as Myz stated above.
Personally, I recommend Microsoft Security Essentials :D I've had it for a few year now, and it's done a mostly very good of a job, except for like, three exceptions so far :P
