Title: Something Strange....
Post by: GoldehWolfeh on November 04, 2016, 09:59:57 PM
Last night, I had decided to try and get on LM...
I don't know what this would go under, but here is a screenshot when the game loads up...

then, when I log in... it states that there is no connection to the server... Is this a glitch? How do I fix this??

P.S Goldeu isn't my actual name. I spelt Goldey wrong and I shall ever regret it. (RL NAME isnt Goldey either lol)

A script, of which looks like a page layout for Norton, it's trying to redirect you to their page because it probably sees something as malware
aka "we blocked this because its malicious" page

If you have Norton installed, I wouldn't recommend using it as your antivirus, lol. Get something else instead.

I actually don't have Norton. So this surprises me.

Did you have anything else open right before you opened LM?
Does it still happen?

I only have Google chrome open to work on the website I have been creating... and yes it still happens even when I close everything down. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still occurs. (I can't even log on to the server either after it opens)
Sorry for double posting,
I really want to fix this!, because I didn't just re-join LM to deal with this the rest of my LM life!

\\EDIT: Merged posts, do not double post please!

Please do not double post. We will try to help you as quickly as possible, and double posting does not help and only gets you into trouble.
Regardless of the fact that you say you do not have Norton anti virus installed, it quite blatantly states that Norton is blocking the connection.

So you can say what you want that you don't have Norton, but I would look through your system files again, and make sure it's not still lurking in there.
Norton is famous for claiming everything that it doesnt immediately recognise to be a virus and thus blocking it or hiding it from view. I recommend using Microsoft Security Essentials instead.
