Introductions / I'm alive!

I'm not sure if anyone remembers me, but it's only polite that I post here anyway in case someone does. <3
I greatly apologize for having disappeared without notice, especially so soon after joining and getting involved in the community. I'm even sorrier to those whose groups/plots I joined, as I'm sure it was probably pretty inconvenient for you guys...but I want to clear things up:
I'm not gone for good.
When I returned to school in January, I thought I'd have as much of a handle on my studies as I did last semester. But this semester turned out to be much more vigorous than I'd anticipated, and not just academically. A combination of school, work, and major tension within the family forced me to drop and abandon basically every second of leisure time I had in order to focus on it all. I would've notified you (my friends) had I had the time, but I simply didn't have any at all.
The semester's coming to an end, though, and come summer I plan on making up for lost time because I really, really miss this place. I'mma try to return to an active state as school winds down, but I can't promise regular activity until it ends altogether.
Again, I'm sorry for any inconveniences I may have caused, but I want to let you know that I am/will be back! <3

General / New Year's Resolutions

You read the title! What are your guys' New Year's resolutions? ♥
My overall resolution is to become a healthier person. Of course, that includes overcoming several littler, secondary obstacles, but I'm aware of this and plan on taking it one step at a time with my first goal being to acquire better eating habits. Pretty straightforward for someone who's working her first job in an Italian restaurant, wouldn't you say? xD
Once I accomplish that, I hope to get moving more, drINK LESS COFFEE, and kick a certain nervous/anxious habit of mine--in that order~.

It's rare that a book sticks with me, but there's one in particular that just came to mind.
I first read The Outsiders in seventh grade, but even now, as a college freshman, this is one of my absolute favorites. It helped me through my toughest times--I found that I could relate to the narrator frighteningly well--and now serves as my primary source of writing inspiration. Sentimentality aside, there's also just something about the style and concept that enthralls me....I think it's partly the fact that I wasn't expecting to read something gang-related in middle school, but I can't place it exactly. Bottom line: I could go on for DAYS about this story for a variety of reasons, so I'll stop here. xD
There's another, but I'm fairly sure everyone's at least heard of A Song of Ice and Fire....If not, then where have you been!?

Discussion & Suggestions / Forum Suggestion: More Sub-boards

So I've come up with a few ideas for the roleplay section of this forum. I've noticed that it seems a little cluttered.
Why not create separate subs for each kind of thread?
One for user-made species;
one for groups (prides, packs, etc.);
two for either private or public RP;
maybe even a couple for either mate searches or character adoptions.
Just my two cents~. I think it would help people better advertise their threads since they wouldn't get so easily skimmed over or drowned out by other, possibly irrelevant topics.

Also, I must forewarn that I write in great detail and have dark tendencies. If any one of my entries contains what I believe to be potentially disturbing material, then there will be a disclaimer underneath its title, but I thought I'd mention this here as well...just in case.
All that aside, I hope y'all enjoy! Criticism is much appreciated. I also do requests!

IKNOW. I just got here...
...but I'm leaving town tomorrow for Christmas and will be gone for a week.
I'll likely be on Skype and the forum plenty, but I won't have in-game access until Saturday the 27, maybe Sunday depending upon when I get home. <3
