Title: How to look/get the colors you want from something
Post by: Dubstep on October 02, 2014, 11:06:38 PM
So I've discovered this little secret 3 years ago and today I think I'm finally going to share
how you can get realistic colors from your favorite character or animal or whatever.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

First find the image you want then open it in paint.net or whatever program that may have these tools I'm about to use

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Select your Color Picker (It looks like an eyedropper)
then clone the color of the pelt (In my case It's the lioness)

On your color wheel it should show the color you just cloned off the lioness (Or whatever picture you have up) if you want to use that color for character creation or if you don't clone a different spot of the lioness(orwhateverpictureyouhave) and try to get a different color, but if you're happy with you're color press 'more'  on the color wheel, you can also test your color to see if it matches by drawing on the spot you cloned

see the numbers I circled? you will have your own set of numbers. Write those down, these numbers are the numbers of your color you cloned
------------
(WARNING)------------------------------------------------------------------------

then enter the numbers on the character creator in order then your done :D
I thought I'd give a little warning though. These colors aren't 100% accurate
sometimes and sometimes they are. Though you could always try using the other set of numbers
I haven't tried using the other set of numbers so go ahead and test your self it may have better accuracy, but if it doesn't help you could just fix it up yourself
