Can't install the game properly

I'm sorry that I'm writing instead of my friend that has the problem but her English  isn't that good.

Today we wanted to play Last Moon but my friend is unable to install the game properly. After installing the game she tried to start  it but the folder where the game should be is empty and she can't find the files anywhere (tried looking in both discs, the desktop, etc.). She tried to uninstall the game but she gets the error saying that the program is probably already uninstalled. And when she automatically runs the game after installing it again she gets error that the Last Moon.exe has been changed or relocated and so the .exe will not work.

Could anyone helps us with this problem please?

Try reinstalling the game? It sounds like you removed it somehow.
Of if you know it's installed, look it up in Window's search function on the Start Menu!

Thank you for the answer but she already tried reinstalling the game several times but the issue remains and when she tries to search for "Last Moon" or any other game files windows search can't find any.

Youre sure you guys didnt accidentally set the install location to the desktop, did you?
You guys aren't playing on a Mac either, correct?
I can't remember the default location of the LM folder off the top of my head, so I will tell it later/tommorow

Ok problem solved. The problem was that during installation after choosing where to install the game there was another menu and she was supposed to choose some shortcut or program to start it up with or something (not sure what exactly was purpose of it) but she chose something wrong and that's probably the reason why the game didn't work. Or maybe it worked because she tried installing the game to  the desktop.

Ok I take it back nothing changed. She managed to make it work after installing and even play the game for about an half an hour but then the game crashed and when she tried to start it again the files were missing again. It is possible to search for them using Windows Search It locates the game in the Start Menu but there's only about 5 files (Last Moon.exe, Uninstall, Update,...) but there's nothing in the game folder and all the other applications are "blank" and do not work.
