Help with directx

This was me and my sisters favorite game in 2014 and stuff. But ever since my new laptop I couldn't access this because missing dll's and more, if there is any new direct I can download let me know please.   IF the version the downloads page is requesting let me know, and I tried downloading the old one but sadly it is too confusing and I'm worried i will mess up my laptop forever.
Please also let me know how to download it and extract  the files if you can.


(also problems with ogre exception)

PS I don't post on forum sites and such so this is probably cringey as heck.

the one on the forum still works fine for later versions of windows such as 8 and 10

however you can also install later versions of DirectX by simply searching it on google

I own a windows 7 laptop too, and it works just fine. I don't think you'll have any problems with it, but if you have them, you can always ask here.

You shouldn't worry about messing up your laptop, because if that were the case of too many different versions, my Desktop with windows 7 would've had an aneurism by now LOL
Just get the latest DirectX download, and you should be fine!

i have windows 7 too but i just downloaded the one MEANT for windows (which is the only one because this game isnt for mac yet ;-;) and i am doing fine i have no viruses nothing
