Issues with Slenderwolf quest

Hello, I am new to this game and I took the quest where you need to kill Slenderwolf and get his tie. Well, I killed him twice. First time he didn't drop anything and second time he dropped the tie. I picked it up but the quest still said I had collected 0/1 ties. How is this possible?? I want my diamond medal :(

Did you put the tie into your stash?

Yes, but still no effect :/

I also tried dropping it and picking it up again.
