Ogre Exception with Deer?

This happens EVERY time I try to choose a new tuft for deer characters. I only get this message for character creation in deer. I can only use Tuft 15, and it's starting to annoy me.
Now, this happened to me before, and I deleted the version.txt file in the Game Folder already because that's what one thread said to do, but that caused the game to be unable to open, so I had to reinstall the game. I don't want to do that all over again, so are there any other solutions?

This is a common error. It happens to everyone, As the deer only has 1 type of tuft (Reason I don't use the deer model much). Also, I fucking love your icon.
