Cant get past login screen

My PC is ancient Windows XP old and no it cannot upgrade

I have created an account both on here and in game
As soon as I hit the login an error sound occurs then freezes and making me unable to view the error box causing me to force task manager to end the program.

What can I do to resolve the issue?

Well, do you have time to screenshot what it says? Or have time to read the error message when it crashes on you? If I could get that it would be easier to explain what to do.


First, try going into the files and deleting "Version.txt" and restart LM, it will come back, maybe you are having the glitch I got maybe 3 or 4 times in 2 years of playing.


Second, try asking a admin with a PM because some people don't post reply' to help posts, if I don't make logical sense here, im tired I literally just woke up and I cant think strait right know,


Lastly, I would delete and reinstall Last Moon, ive had to do that about a million times ^^

Are you sure your computer meets the system requirements?
I am not entirely certain if Last Moon was meant to work on WindowsXP... It is an operating system that is no longer officially supported by Microsoft anymore.

Adding onto CanineCat's detailed list, maybe another way to fix this would be to install the two additional files in the Download section. They are called DirectX and Microsoft Visual C++.

Yet another fix could be changing the rendering system between OpenGL and Direct3D. See what works for you.

This is what happened: First download, error. Second try, error, third try, gived up and deleted it. Fourth try? I was tired of playing Feralheart so I downloaded one last time. IT WORKED! So try 4 times.

(In my opinion I just think your computer is too old.)
