The Black Box of..Possibly Doom?

Hey there!
I'm having a problem. I let the game update because it needed to, so when it finished...
the black update box just vanished. I clicked on the icon from my taskbar, and there came a black box again. It hung around for 5 seconds and then disappeared. Clicked it again, did nothing, and after one more black box that went into hiding, I'd officially clicked it three times and it hadn't loaded up. I need a little help, is it supposed to do that?
The world may never know.
Anyways, if any of you can help me fix it, thanks!

You may just have to try re-installing the game again after uninstalling. It could be a glitch in your game files.

Nope, just go to the main LM file, and delete version.txt then run the game, it'll update as normal

Right click the LM icon> Click 'Open File Location'> There should be a document that reads 'Version.txt'. Just delete that, run the game and let the black box do what it's supposed to. c:

Should I delete the second?

Try going into the game folder
Delete game.exe
Delete version.txt
Run Last Moon.exe
