Animal is running, but it wont go anywhere

um yah... when i downloaded the game, everything worked fine on creating a character, i mean... everything is fine(so far...), but when i run, my animal is still in the running animation, but something is either invisible making my animal stop/hesitate to go forward. In some areas though, or if i turn a certain way in my camera, it goes forward excellently. Why is this happening? and is there any way I can fix this? *oh and also, when i tried redownloading the game, it worked, but when i tried to open it, it had that black box and it said "checking for updates..." then it completely disappeared and wont open. I checked for a solution with the trouble-shooter problems on my computer, and it said that the game is unresponsive or not compatible...  any way i could fix THAT?

Well I know the first issue sounds a lot like the player collisions problem. Try restarting and changing the size of your character? I've heard that was supposed to help. I'm not positive on the last issue that you expressed, but you /could/ try going to your Last Moon folder and deleting the version.txt file. But I'd get a member of staff or someone else who's more experienced to give you the for-sure correct answer if that doesn't work.

your first problem is just a glitch that comes with the current collision system (one that has been fixed in a later version of the game to be released at a later date) and it applies to all new characters. simply relog after logging onto a new character for the first time and the issue will resolve itself and movement will be returned to normal.

as for your second problem, go into your last moon folder and delete the version.txt and then run the game again allowing the program to download the newer files.

if you still have trouble after this, please post either the contents of your update.log or take a screenshot of what the black console box says when it pops back up again

i might as well try that too, but I dont have the version.txt in the folder, unless you mean the folder or the game itself

*oh, and about it downloading the new files, when i go to the LM folder, even afterit says it has "downloaded the new files", theres still nothing there.

In future Blue, please edit your previous post instead of double posting.

Try turning your firewall off and then run Last Moon to let it update.

I have tried that, and it still does it :c this is what happens:


this is exactly what it says, nothing else, just that, then it disappears.
and what is the "Last Moon.exe" file? it says that, in order to run the update and open the game,  i have to have that .exe file, and i dont think i see that anywhere
