Did you look in your stash? You might of forgotten to take it out of your stash.
And there's a common glitch where if there's too many people/shards your shard will 'disappear' for you, even though it's still there. Basically, in other words, other people can see it yet you can't. And to solve that, you can just stash it and re-equip the item.
