Ogre Exception - Unable to get in game

Hello, I've been having problems opening Last Moon for the first time.

I used to play this game on an older computer until it broke down, and I never experienced this before.

When you first open and the black box comes up downloading files, it will stop with Ogre Exception 7.
I've searched for other Ogre forms like this and people said to get DirectX, but as I play Wizard101 on this computer I believe I already have it. (DirectX is a requirement in the game).

I also brought up a screenshot of what happened below for further help.

I am open to any suggestions but as I'm not a pro at a computer, simple instructions please x3

Tried 2 things but it still wont work ;.;
((Getting DirectX and changing the Version.txt to 0))

Ok so download the Microsoft thing in the download too, it supports the game. It is like by Direct X in the download and let me know if that works if not I have another solution

Delete the version .txt file to force an update. If changing it to 0 doesn't work, maybe deleting it will.

x.x I tried but it wouldn't work. Same Ogre Exception appeared

I downloaded, but it said I already have that version or a later one. So I went back to the game to try but Ogre Exception yet again..
Curious what the other solution is?


Thank you everyone again on helping me. I honestly don't know what to do if Last Moon doesn't work as this is a laptop gifted to me on Xmas~

Go to the file Version.txt and change the content to 0 it will run an updater like searching for all the files you might of missed.

(Open it with like notepad)

That was the 2nd thing I tried. I just tried again and see if it would change anything, but nah. Still Ogre Exception

What do you mean? Like the downloaded in-game textures? (I cant find those nontheless)[found it ;v;
Or the files I have in the Last Moon folder it asked me to sort in before the black box?

"go to your last moon folder. it will bring up a list of files. Hit the windows key and prt screen and your computer will take a screenshot. go to microsoft pain. hit ctrl v. save the image. upload the image (imgur). post the link here on the forums for me to see"

Small bump/update
I'm still having problems with Ogre Exception (Screenshot on top)

What I tried:
**Re-Installing
**Changing Version.txt to 0
**Deleting Version.Txt
**downloading RenderSystem_Direct3D9.dll and put in main LM folder
**Make sure LM is past firewall
**Downloading DirectX and Microsoft .NET
