As Forrie-butt Said, Tell her to delete her Version.txt in her LM folder. She can Get There By Following These Steps:
Go to your Last Moon icon, The one you would click to open Up The Game. Tell her then to right click it and hit "Open File Location" once the Folder Opens Up, You should see a File named "Version." A Text Document. Tell her to Right click That and Then Click Delete, Then Run The Game Again.
Doing this, As Forrie said, Will force an update; Thus covering any Missing Files and such. If nothing works, Come back.
