I quit the game for awhile and I got a new laptop. I decided to start playing again but when the yellow bar is full it says game.exe has stopped working. I didn't have this problem on my old laptop.

If nothing helps, you should try re-installing the game.

Try Deleting Version.tex and update.tex, then opening the game again
You could also try running the game as administrator.

i had the missing file problem but i downloaded DirectX and it fixed that i tried deleting both of them but it comes back every time.

No it fixed the missing files problem but its now saying that game.exe has stopped working.

Delete only version.txt, disable your wirewall or right click the LM icon and press run as administrator.
You could also change your rendering system (the small grey box after the black update one).

I think its not working because every time I try to delete version.exe it just comes back

Its supposed to do that along with other files that you're missing, its an automatic updater.
