Bugs & Glitches / game crashes when trying to hunt?

Um..I tried to hunt several times (twice with a feline, five times with a canine character) in two different maps (the event map at first, I thought I couldn’t hunt because it was for events or something) then in the crystal forest and my game just crashes...am I doing something wrong? I’m new here and started playing yesterday so maybe I just can’t hunt yet? Please help me, I’ve tried crouching and going into fight pose while chasing after the prey but once I get to it it crashes. I also don’t have any abilities yet, but I don’t think that’s the problem? I’m sorry if I posted this somewhere random I’m bad at figuring out forums.
