Bugs & Glitches / Cannot see certain people on my friends list.
« on: January 12, 2015, 06:20:34 PM »
Ok, so here's the deal: Certain people on my friends list disappear for me. Certain friends disappear on my screen when I walk into a map that they are in. Cannot see their character, chat text, name, they even don't show up on the mini-map. This is something that's been going on for a long while now and it is really beginning to aggravate me. And I've been having troubles with not seeing PMs/people not seeing my PMs on occasion. I have tried un-installing my game twice, but that is all I've really done, due to me not really knowing of what else to do at this point.

Introductions / Hey guys. I'm back. :)

I'M BAAAAAAACCKK

Yup, I'm back, good ole' Nis is back from a rather long hiatus. Sorry to all of my friends for leaving without a good explanation, School decided that it was gonna take control of the highway of life. x_x But HEY, I'm back now, and it's all fine and dandy. But, now on to some serious stuff.

A lot of you remember me having Arthritis, correct? Well.....turns out I have more than that.

Just 3 days ago, I was diagnosed with not ONE, but TWO chronic diseases, one of which can potentially become life-threatening if I am not careful. The first is Fibromyalgia. What is Fibro? Well, Fibromyalgia is basically when my nerves are much more active in sending pain signals to my brain. So if you pinch my back, instead of it feeling like, ya know, a pinch, it feels like a gosh damn bee-sting. So my nerves send many more pain signals to my brain than what it's supposed to, especially if it's in an area where nerves are very prominent.

The second is EDS, or Elhers-Danlos Syndrome. What is EDS? EDS is a connective tissue disorder, and also a genetic mutation. The collagen in my body is not 'sticky' enough. What is collagen? Collagen is basically the 'glue' of the body. It holds everything together. Everything. So, my joints, muscles, bones, are much looser and unstable than they actually should be. I have type 3 EDS, which is the Hypermobility type. I'm hypermobile, which means my joints can bend in peculiar ways, such as touching my thumb to my wrist, bending my knee backwards, or putting both legs behind my head. I try NOT to do this, because it can cause my joint to dislocate, or pop out of joint. It is a very painful disease, and can cause a lot of problems in the future for me. It affects absolutely everything in my body, even my organs (also including my skin). They currently have me on steroids just to keep the pain at bay.

There is no cure for any of the 3 chronic diseases that I have, but there is treatment.

I really need some support right now guys, and not to mention more friends to be with.

But I will never. EVER. Let this damn thing beat me. It shall /never/ beat me.
