Game Help / Running Old Version?

Hi there, it's me again.

In my previous question, I had trouble downloading/running Last Moon, but I was able to get it going (by some miracle). However, recently, I've recently noticed that the version I'm playing is an older version-- Version 0.4.2 to be exact, dated 17/06/2014.

Just to add, everything is running normally, like it should. All my characters and items are still in the game. Any/all of the new stuff that was added isn't accessible though, like the bird player model and The Hub. (At least I believe that's new)

Will I have to uninstall and install the game again to get the latest update? I tried looking for an answer for my question beforehand but wasn't able to, so I'm sorry if this is a bother.

Game Help / Problems Downloading the Game

Hey everyone, I've got a question. I'm not too crazy about interacting on forums though and I only post if I absolutely need to, which I do now.

So, here's my issue.

I'm having some trouble downloading the game. After searching the forums just in case someone had a similar issue, which I did find but didn't have success in finding an answer, I decided writing my own post would be best.

As a side note; this isn't my first time downloading the game, but I suppose I might be having trouble because I got a new laptop. It runs Windows like my old one, but I'm not sure why I'm having issues with downloading the game this time.

 I followed every step I needed to take. I downloaded the original Download, the Alternative, DirectX, AND Microsoft Visual. I used both game downloads, with and without DirectX and MV, and followed every step I needed to, like I said.

Everything goes smoothly until I go to run/play the game, and I receive this popup:

Am I doing something wrong? Or can I not run the game anymore? :c What can be done? Who can I contact specifically if I need to?

**EDIT**
Forgot to mention that I downloaded AND installed DirectX and MV. I didn't just download them and call it a day. Sorry for the mixup. ^^
