Hello there.

The reason why it does not let you log in is because you probably did not yet create an ingame account.
Your forum account is not linked to the game.

That is a nice idea, especially because doing a character design contest with a there related to an event like Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc would be really cool.


Some ideas for themes:

-Event themes: I've mentioned them before
-Elemental theme: Creating a character that is related to an element like fire, wind,    water, etc
-Fantasy or mythology theme: Creating a character that is related to fantasy stories or myths.
-Cute theme: Creating a really cute character.
-Warrior theme: Creating a character that looks like a warrior. It must wear at least one weapon like a sword, a knife, a gun, or something similar to that.

I would rather have people not use items. Just to make it fair to everyone, even new people.

That's all I could come up with.

Probably not meant for people who are too serious or sensitive, it's meant to be a funny contest although. Thing is people may get too profane maybe, so you'd probably need to set some ground rules, like no cussing, or no more than (blank) comments/roasts.

As far as I know, the making and launching itself is free but you got to pay money each time someone clicks on the ad, or each time your ad is displayed on a website or if people are led to your website through the ad.

You can choose the payment method of the three.

Hi everyone!

I see there is a lack of member-hosted contests, so I might as well jump in to fill in the void.
I got tons of items that I want to give away and some are worth a bit more, so I will make some contests for them.

But!

I will need ideas!

What kind of contests would you like to see? I'd love to host them only in-game, since some people dont visit the forum.

Ideas so far:

• Tree climbing contest
• Ascension Island contest -once it is fixed-
• Character stacking contest
• Character making contest
• ...?

Still, when you see me in game, make sure to tell me a joke and if I find it funny, I might give you a random small item ranging from cheap items to bronze medals.

So, let us brainstorm, everyone!

I would like to thank last Moon for existing, I would like to thank the admins and mods for hosting this contest. I want to thank Aetherna for being for being such a nice and helpful person. I want to thank everyone who voted... -gives hour long Nobel-prize speech-

Now, jokes aside, I hope I will not disappoint Last Moon and all of you guys. I want to be worthy of this title and for this, I will do all I can.

I just saw that the person did not visit their profile for 1 and a half -or a bit more- years.
In this case, any comment is unnecessary, since they will not and cannot respond to the demands. Only the admins can do something about this.

The problem is that, if this person sees that this thread has been made, and is aware, they can get everyone who has a link to their DA in trouble, because it is considered bullying if there's suddenly lots of activity and rude messages.  That's the deviantart way, stolen art is only stolen if its physical, and as long as someone is rude to you, they get banned and you can get away clean. Thats why it just isn't safe to post something big like this to the public. But, hey, it's none of my business.

I have looked and there are not too rude messages, only those that tell them that they stole art and rightfully demand it all taken down. In my book, that is not bullying. I would call it bullying if they attacked their person and called them names, along with threats to their life.

I mean, do you call intercepting a thief that stole the purse of an old lady assault and bullying?

People there are merely fighting back and making it clear that they do not like what they are doing. However, I do agree that there should be physical proof of the theft. So sadly, OP can only truly fight back effectively, if they have the pictures posted somewhere with an earlier date than the theft. Otherwise, sadly, they have nothing in their hand and the only way to stop the thief is to make this public and make people aware of their continued theft.

This way, even if they post pictures on their profile and claim it as their own, people will already know it was stolen. This usually stops a thief in a few months.

I actually think it isnt bad to spread awareness and ask for help, to reach out to more people than who might see it on their profile. One can choose to report it as well to get the dA admins to respond sooner. That site usually doesnt care about stolen work as long as there are not enough reports.

Sadly...

There is so much art theft there that I cant even...
