Alright. So, as I mentioned before, I had intentions of creating a cherry blossom tree filled map. Well... that didn't happen. In order to get as many trees in the map without it lagging horribly, I needed to be able to retexture. The main reason I started on the cherry blossom map first instead of the city one was because I COULDN'T retexture, I would at least might be able to pull it off and use the cherryblossom trees already in the game. They are too laggy. Ferretfoo helped me learn how to retexture objects for Last Moon and so I returned to the idea of working on the city and I've made a lot of progress. Without further ado, Paradox City.
The first and the second image show a few parts of the city. Keep in mind this is a work in progress. I have not yet added all of the trees or any grass. The most of what I have set in place is the buildings. I am planning on putting a fountain in the center of the downtown square. One fourth of the map will be open, on one side of the square. I had people requesting a city map for normal city roleplays and some for post apocalyptic roleplays. I decided to meet in the middle. The map stays permanently dark. You will just have to use your imagination. Let me know what you think.
Finished?:
No, still a work in progress. COMPLETE!
FEATURES:-Road, grass, and city window textures
-Buildings. You cannot enter them, but you can sit on them. Varying heights.
-Fountain. Makes water sounds and has four "seats" around it as well as the main seat/ring
-Trees. A few trees around the fountain as well as larger ones of various sizes in the entrance corner of the map. They can be sat in. One tree is made out of two trees and can also be sat on each level
-Rocks. Various sizes, can be sat on
-City skyline backdrop. I used the buildings and the terrain to create a city skyline backdrop. Walking between the terrain "fence" and the backdrop isn't intended, but you can if you want to. I've never gotten stuck back there but hey, you're the one risking it. The backdrop buildings can also be sat on.
